This piece takes you on a journey through the stages of our lives as Christians: It starts where things are peaceful and we feel happy. Then storms come and we cry out in distress. Then as we reach out and cling to Christ in our need, He brings us deliverance and we rejoice in His help. And finally we have a stronger, fuller experience as we walk in the sunshine again.

Romans 5:3-5: “But we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; And patience, experience; and experience, hope: And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.”

Designed to be interesting for both for the flutist and pianist it is fun to play and amazing to listen to. Suitable for intermediate players, but will be thoroughly enjoyed by advanced players. Useful in church services, benefit concerts, sound tracks, recitals, and many other settings.
